The Harding Fellowship in Student Hunger and Homelessness was created to identify and expand services, conduct research, and engage the community in order to alleviate hunger and homelessness on the CU Denver campus.Â
One of our fellows, Levi Brower, is a first-generation student focusing on urban politics and ways to make cities more equitable and enjoyable places to live. He has a background in agriculture and forest management. "So far, my favorite part of the fellowship has been connecting with community members and learning about the support systems in place for students," Levi says. "There are so many faculty members who want to help student connect with the resources they need to succeed."
The Political Science Department is thankful for the fellows and their work, and are thrilled to have them working in our department this year!
