New Lecturer Application

Thank you for your interest in the CU Succeed Programs! We are happy to help guide you through the application process to become an appointed CU Succeed Lecturer. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

All applications need to be submitted electronically at 

  • If you are applying to become a CU Succeed ³Ò´Ç±ô»åÌýLecturer (you are currently employed at a ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø High School and want to offer CU Denver Courses to your students) click , or refer to job posting 20282.
  • If you are applying to become a CU Succeed Silver Lecturer (you are not employed at a ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø High School but are able to be placed in a ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø High School that requires an instructor in your discipline) click , or refer to job posting 20283

CU Succeed Lecturer Minimum Qualifications:

CU Denver is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and all CU Succeed Lecuters must meet HLC criteria in order to be approved to teach. HLC mininmum qualificarions are a masters degree in the content area, or a masters degree and 18 graduate credit hours in the conent area. CU Succeed Lecturers are expected to possess the same scholarly qualifications as other part-time lecturers in the department, which may surpass the HLC minimum qualificatons. Find out the minimum qualifications here.

Required Application Materials (all materials need to be submitted with the online application at ):

  • CU Succeed Gold Lecturer Appointment Form​​
  • Current Curriculum Vita, including Education (degrees, dates, institutions attended, etc.), Teaching Experience, Publications and References (names, titles and phone numbers)
  • Official or unofficial transcripts showing degrees received and courses taken from all institutions attended.
  • Two letters of recommendation *
  • ¶Ù±ð³Ù²¹¾±±ô±ð»å,ÌýCU Denver-style syllabus for the proposed course(s), Not required for Math applications

* Letters of recommendation should be from individuals who can provide information about your knowledge in the field, your teaching skills, and other qualifications that, make you qualified to teach at the university level. Letters can be from colleagues.

Upon completion of the review, the CU Succeed Office will notify the applicant regarding the department's decision. Upon approval, the applicant will receive a letter of appointment detailing the terms and conditions of the position.
